Hey, I'm Eli, AKA Fallsy.
I've been painting sneakers since 2012. I was inspired to take up custom sneakers by one of the greats, Mache. I stumbled across his work on Instagram and was absolutely amazed. In 2012, I was on a trip in Hong Kong when I stumbled across a pair of Nike Blazers I assumed to be fake (they weren't). I purchased the pair for a whopping $3 CAD and headed to the art shop nearby to purchase some Sharpies. A few hours later, my first "custom" was completed. When I returned home from that trip, I decided to try my hand at painting shoes. Armed with Martha Stewart acrylics and a couple of cheap brushes, I painted my first pair, Big Nike High "Howling Wolf". The first couple years of painting were marred by plenty of trial and error and more than a few ruined pairs of shoes. But over the years and hundreds of pairs later, Fallsy Customs has grown from a little hobby to a passion that I get to share with the world! My goal is to continue to sharpen my skills and improve with every pair I create. Thank you so much for stopping by, I look forward to creating something unique and fun with you! |
